Post # 6: a world of sport

Sport is very important to have a healthy life.
In Chile people don’t like to practice sport, but they like to watch sport on TV.
In Chile the most popular sport is football. All cities have a stadium, it is very important in people’s life. But I think going to the stadium is very dangerous because there is a lot of violence. Families prefer don’t go to the stadium.
Another important sport in my country is tennis. Before, in general, people didn’t like it much, and since Chino Rios was the number one, this sport became more popular. But it is more expensive to practice.
In Chile people work too much then we doesn’t have much time for practicing sport.
In general, people prefer to go to the gym.
In schools sport is not very important. Children have two hours of sport in the week, which is little. And in the university sport is not important either.
I think it is very necessary that children practice sport since they are little. This people practice sport all their life.
People that have more money do more sport in Chile, because it is very expensive.
The government has taken different measures about sport, because Chile has many obese people.
I am not practicing sport in this moment, because I don’t have much time.
I played basketball in the school. And later I went to the gym.
I think it is very necessary to have an exercise machine in the house.
It is very necessary that people become aware of sport because it is very good to have a healthy, happy life.

WHAT TO DO & WHERE TO GO IN STGO

Santiago is a big city has different places for visit.
The typical place is Lastarrias street, is wonderful place, I like too much. This place has different stores, restaurants, theater.
Other place is the San Cristobal hill. It has a zoo, Japones garden. The people can run walk, go with the family is nice hill
The Pablo Neruda House is a typical place.
Downtown Santiago, because this places has a Moneda palace, square de armas, the cathedral.
The Santa Lucia hill, is nice hill, the people can see the city on the top hill.
The market central in general is very visited for the tourist, they can eat typical food and around the market central is Mapocho station this place is a cultural center. Always have activities.
Santiago has different restaurants very good with the typical food.
I like Santiago, but I think this city don `t have much places for the tourist, is the best go the other city around the Santiago while Valparaiso is a wonderful city because has different elevation and the people can take the motorboat . Casablanca has much Viñas and the tourist can drink different style of wine, is a typical product Chilean.
Viña del Mar has a beach, in the summer is very fun.
I think that the people want see different place, new things. And in other country has cine, theater. Because is not interesting for they. Is very necessary have more typical places in Santiago. Because other city have interesting places.
Santiago has different places and activities for the national people but no for the tourist.

Transantiago,before and after

I don’t have problem with the transantiago. While I went to the school, I had problems with the last public transport system. The driver didn’t stop; I had to wait for several minutes. In this moment the student don’t have problem with the transport, and is more certain.
I don’t use the bus in general, I prefer the Subway. It Is more comfortable and faster, but with the transantiago the subway is very congested.
The last transport contaminated the city that was a big problem. In this moment the public transport contaminate less.
In the introduction this system had more problems. The people can’t go to work or school because the buses decreased. But the government took measures to solve this problem. The big companies were changed because they didn’t provide a good service for the people.
The Cortazar Minister realizes a good work with the public transport.
I prefer the transantiago system is faster in this moment.
One of the problems was the people, because they didn’t enquire about the change, and it is necessary in the public policies to take into account the people’s customs.
The national people aren’t used walk to the bus stop, and in this moment the buses just stop in the corresponding bus stop.
Finally, I believe that this system is better.

Different places, I would like to visit

I like to travel and I love the history of big civilizations around the world.
Last summer I went to Machuppichu in Peru, with my boyfriend. It is a wonderful place.
I would like to visit different countries with big civilizations: Greece, Italy, Israel, China and Mexico.
I would like go to Egypt. This civilization is very interesting. I can’t believe how they built the pyramids. I would go to Egypt while I work because it is a very expensive trip.
I wouldn’t like to live in this country because it is Muslim, and women don’t have the freedom. I would visit the museums and different places in this country.
Also I would like to visit Cuba, this place has a big history, with the revolution. I would like to visit the Che Guevara Museum, buy some books and go to the beach.
Is very difficult for me to choose one place. I have different reasons to visit those countries.
I would like to study in New York. I love this city, it is wonderful, I went 6 years ago. I think it is my favorite city to live.
I would like to travel around the world all my life.
Next summer I don’t know which place to visit, it depends how much money I have.
